MC Memorial Park to Hold Ullambana Enlightenment Ceremony, Inviting All Believers to Participate

To promote the spirit of filial piety and preserve traditional Chinese culture, MC Memorial Park is scheduled to solemnly hold its annual Ullambana Enlightenment Ceremony on September 14, 2025 (the 23rd day of the seventh lunar month). The purpose of this ceremony is to pray for the deliverance of the departed and for peace for the living. We sincerely invite all believers to attend and share in the joy of the Dharma.

The ceremony will be solemn and dignified, led by a team of professional Dharma masters who will follow traditional rituals to provide a pure and respectful space for remembrance and prayer. The ceremony's content will include:

Solemn rituals such as initiating the altar, invoking the sages, offering prayers, and summoning the spirits.

• Recitation of the "Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra" in three volumes, to deliver the departed with the light of the Dharma and to build good karma.

• The "Offering to the Lonely Spirits" ritual, which demonstrates compassion for all living beings.

• A culmination ceremony to conclude the event on a perfect note.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM and is expected to conclude at 4:00 PM. A detailed schedule will be made available at the venue for your reference.

To ensure that all participants can smoothly and peacefully complete the rituals, our memorial park has carefully planned the venue.

• Enquiry Counter (A): Provides services for ceremony consultation, registration, and inquiries about offerings.

• Ullambana Ceremony Prayer Hall (B): This is the main venue for the solemn chanting and prayers. We kindly ask that you maintain silence and a reverent heart upon entering.

• Gift Bag Collection & Sales Area (C): Here you can collect gift bags and purchase offerings such as prayer lamps, spirit money, and other items.

This year's ceremony has limited slots, and to ensure the best experience for all participants, we are accepting registrations for up to 100 believers. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
